Donate To Help Save Baby Turtles

Sea turtles around the world are endangered, but you can help bring them back! By supporting our Billion Baby Turtles program, you are helping protect important nesting beaches around the world, ensuring that the hatchlings make it to the water.

The funding helps community-based organizations hire local residents to patrol the beaches and protect the eggs, which in many places are sold illegally on the black market. For every $1 donated, we can save at least 10 hatchlings; more than 6 million saved so far in 20+ countries.

Your donation supports important nesting beach programs around the world. We put 85% of all donations to conservation efforts and 5% of donations go to our Sea Turtle Inclusivity Fund to invest in local communities. 10% of each goes to program management and administration. SEE Turtles is a 501c3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible. Our EIN in 81-4325149.

What Is SEE Turtles?

SEE Turtles protects endangered sea turtles around the world by supporting community-based conservation efforts. Our Billion Baby Turtles program provides support for important turtle nesting beaches around the world. Too Rare To Wear is a campaign working to end the demand for turtleshell products. Our conservation trips provide volunteer and financial support for conservation efforts and our school programs help teachers and students learn about these incredible animals and how to protect them. Our Sea Turtles & Plastic campaign works to get plastic waste out of sea turtle habitats around the world. We also promote equity in the sea turtle community through our Sea Turtle Inclusivity Fund.

Our Billion Baby Turtles program provides grants to conservation organizations working on more than 50 important turtle nesting beaches in 20 countries through small grants. We focus on community-based and oriented projects that both help keep nesting turtles and hatchlings safe from illegal hunting and help provide jobs for local residents to work in sea turtle conservation. These funds help provide the critical financial support to keep people on the beach and helping get hatchlings into the water. Learn more about this program here.
